Services

There are services to suit many people at St. Thomas' - and they don't just take place on a Sunday!

9.30am... If you prefer something in the morning with a traditional feel, try our Morning Praise, with a mixture of traditional hymns, modern worship songs and biblical teaching. Communion is on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month.

11.30am... If you're looking to bring the whole family then the All-Age-Interactive-Praise service might just be for you. Children are encouraged to be involved throughout the service, with actions at the front, flags, instruments and of course our very own Bible Man (the ultimate superhero!). Communion is on the 3rd Sunday of the month.

6.00pm... This Evening Celebration is open to all and is modern in its style of worship, with biblical teaching and openness to the leadings of the Holy Spirit. The service is signed for people with hearing difficulties. Communion is on the 1st Sunday of each month.

9.30 Congregation
11.30 Children's Praise

XLT, also at 6.00pm is only for young people of high school age. Taking place in the UnderGround (youth venue), the service starts with hot food, then straight into worship with the 'Ready Salted' band.

During the week, there is a traditional communion service on a Wednesday at 11.00am. More commonly known as 'Munch' the service follows the BCP (Book of Common Prayer). It is also followed by a tasty lunch in the Parish Centre for only £1.

On the first Sunday of each month, Causeway at 3.30pm is for people with learning difficulties.

Once every two months we have Moving On - a time of reflection with music and visual aids for those suffering a bereavement. This takes place from 3.30pm-5.00pm.

Personal Prayer for healing is offered at the end of each service and during the receiving of communion. In each of the Sunday services we also hold bi-monthly healing services.
