Morning Prayer

Morning Prayer takes place on Tuesdays at 9.00am in the Church Lounge.  Following the Church of England's pattern for morning payer.

Morning Prayer consists of communal scripture reading, liturgy, silence and a short open time of prayer.

All are welcome to attend as we bring the needs of our church and the world around us to God in prayer.

Prayer Tree

The Prayer Tree is a very valuable source of comfort in times of sickness or distress whenever prayer is needed.

We can offer to pray for whatever the need or situation may be. It only take a few seconds to pass on a request and within minutes it is passed down the tree by phone or email, even as far away as Australia. Just imagine the power of prayer when several people are praying.

To place a prayer on the Prayer Tree, please contact Elsie Platt or fill in a contact form.

Evening Prayer Meeting

Taking place on Friday evenings from 7.00pm, this prayer time focuses on the ministries at St. Thomas'.  The venue is usually the Church Lounge, or occasionally in the Parish Centre.

Cell Groups

Cells are small groups which meet midweek in homes or on church premises.  They are such an important part of St. Thomas' as they are one of the best ways of getting to know people, caring for one another and supporting one another as we follow Jesus.  A typical cell group will study the bible, worship and pray together.  Cell groups are a place to ask questions and learn more about the Christian faith.

Anyone is welcome to join a group and there are a range to choose from.  Some meet during the day and others meet in the evenings.  If you would like to join a Cell Group or would like more information about them, please get in touch with Darrell Tordoff, or fill in a contact form.
